美奥打算邀请中国加入三国军事演习Australia, US to Invite China to War Games

China's ambassador to Australia, Zhang Junsai, has welcomed the possibility of joint war games as a way to ensure regional stability and peace.


基廷对“悉尼前驱晨报”说，他盼望结合演习将辅助美国及其盟国更好地懂得中国进步兵器机能的起因。据报导，美国担忧中国的一些军事打算仿佛并非是跟平的。


Admiral Timothy Keating told the "Sydney Morning Herald" newspaper he hopes the joint exercises will help the U.S. and its allies better understand China's reasons for boosting its weapons capabilities.The United States is reportedly concerned that some of China's military ambitions do not appear to be peaceful.




The head of U.S. forces in the Pacific says the United States and its close ally Australia plan to invite China to participate in war games.

Admiral Keating says the exercises could begin with small naval and land activities, followed by personal exchanges.
